Isabeau Neethling
DesignationIsabeau graduated in 1992 at the University of Stellenbosch. She worked until 1994 at Tygerberg Hospital. Thereafter she worked in private practices in Bethlehem, Free State and various other practices in Cape Town. Beginning 2002 she co-founded the Neethling, Strauss and Arpesella Physiotherapy Partnership in Parklands, Table View.
Isabeau has built up extensive experience over the last 25 years. This includes fields such as Orthopaedics( hand, shoulder and neck injuries), Sport injuries, Strapping, and Taping, Dry Needling, Woman’s Health and Pilates exercises. She qualified in June 2016 as a Certified Lymphedema Therapist (ILTWI) and finished in 2019 her Advanced Management of Fluoroscopy Guided Manual Lymph Drainage course (LTA – UK).
She recently finished the Introduction to Palliative Care for Professionals (HPCA).
Isabeau has served on various committees such as the SASP and LAOSA from 2008 to 2022. She recently started her own import company specializing in Intermittent pneumatic compression machines (www.isatrade.co.za).
She is looking forward to serving the community to the best of her ability.
Adele Strauss
DesignationAdele qualified at the University of the Orange Free State in 1992. Straight after graduation she worked in various private practices and in hospitals in PE, East London and Johannesburg. In this period she did extensive work in ICU, Orthopaedics and general wards. In 1998 she got married to Jacques Strauss and moved to Cape Town. In 2002 she co-founded the Neethling, Strauss and Arpesella Physiotherapy Partnership in Parklands, Table View.
Her continuing professional development includes Dry Needling, Kinesiotaping, Orthopedics, SIJ (Sacro-Iliac Joint) Dysfunctions, Sport Injuries, Pain Management and CPR. She has special interests in knee and shoulder rehabilitation as well as cervical headaches.
She is passionate about Physiotherapy and strives to treat her patients with the utmost professional care.
Adele stays in Melkbos and is a busy mother of two very sporty sons. Cycling and outdoor activities with her family is currently the joys of her life.
Nicky Arpesella
DesignationNicky grew up in Milnerton, went to Milnerton High and qualified at Stellenbosch University in 1995. Straight after graduation she started working at Milnerton Medi-Clinic. She went to work in the UK in 1998 where she gained experience in geriatrics and amputations.
After returning to SA she returned to MMC and bought the practice in September 1999. In 2002 she co-founded the practice in Parklands with Isabeau Neethling and Adele Strauss.
Nicky’s continuing professional development includes Soft Tissue Mobilization, Whiplash Injuries, Dry Needling, Headaches, McConnell Strapping, Kinesiotaping, Knee and Shoulder Injuries, SIJ Dysfunction, Mulligan’s mobilization, Pain Management, Pediatric Respiratory, ICU and CPR workshops. She also coordinated our SASP PRACTICE MANAGEMENT ACCREDITATION in 2016.
Her special interest is in all things relating to backache and the spine and chronic pain. She does Pilates Based Rehab classes for compromised back patients. She also enjoys shoulder & knee rehab, TMJ problems and Paediatrics.
Nicky is extremely busy running between two practices and managing her family, but still finds time to enjoy life to the fullest.
Zahira Ismail
DesignationZahira graduated from UWC in 2005. She completed her Community Service year in Kimberley (2006), In 2007, she worked as a locum at various hospitals and started work at Neethling, Strauss and Arpesella Physiotherapists in 2008.
She is based in our Netcare Blaauwberg Hospital rooms, Her interests include Paediatric Respiratory conditions, Sports Injuries, Orthopedics and ICU.
She is also a qualified lymphoedema therapist.
Her future goals include working with athletes, travelling abroad and broadening her scope of practice in the physiotherapy field.
Paige Tyler
DesignationPaige graduated from Stellenbosch University in 2023. She then completed her community service year at Dora Nginza hospital in the Eastern Cape, working with paediatric, maternity, and burns cases. She moved back home to Cape Town in 2025 and started working in private practice. She joined Neethling, Strauss and Arpesella in November of 2025.
Paige is based at the Blaauwberg Netcare rooms, and has a special interest in ICU, trauma and surgery, and maternity cases. She is additionally qualified in dry needling, and the Hammersmith neonatal and infant assessments.

Nicolette Fortune
DesignationNicolette matriculated in 1990 and has studied 2 years office practice at West Coast College and has been with us since 2007.
She is currently she is currently based at our Blaauwberg Netcare practice. She manages the administration of the practice and is in charge of accounts and debt collecting.
Libby May
DesignationLibby is based at our Parklands location and manages administration for the practice.
Liezl Lane
DesignationLiezl graduated from teaching in 2004 and taught primary school education for 8 years thereafter. She started with us in 2013 after her second child was diagnosed with Cysctic Fibrosis and she could not longer teach.
